Set on four acres at beautiful White Beach on the Tasman Peninsula, the award winning Storm Bay Guest House is one of Tasmania’s most popular accommodation facilities.
The property, which is bordered by the Tasman National Park, sits high on Hardy’s Hill over-looking Storm Bay and Bruny Island to the west and Parson’s Bay, Nubeena and the surrounding hillsides to the north.
The Storm Bay complex comprises the Guest House (B&B) and Cragganmore Cottage which is situated some further 80 meters down the hill. Beautiful White Beach is only a few minutes’ walk from the property.
We are only ten minutes from the Port Arthur Historic Site and Tasman Island Cruises both of which recently won Australia’s best tourist attraction and eco-tourism awards respectively. Similarly, the start of the newly developed Three Capes Track that follows along the highest sea cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere and the fabulous Cape Raoul/Shipstern Bluff track are also located just 10 minutes from the property. Hobart International Airport is approximately 75 minutes away.
Our goal at Storm Bay is simply to provide you with the best possible accommodation experience that we can offer. From the moment you arrive to the time you leave you will be most welcome at Storm Bay. Whether it is relaxing on the large deck, enjoying the incredible views and sunsets, the afternoon kangaroo and bird feedings or just relaxing in the lounge in front of the cosy fireplace, you will be at home.
We will also ensure that you are made aware of all of the Tasman’s hidden treasures and if required, assist you to plan your activities to get the most benefit of your stay. Our special map will guide you along the way. There are lots of “Things to Do” on the Tasman Peninsula so make sure that you allow plenty of time during your stay to enjoy its wonders.
Storm Bay is truly a Tasmanian experience and we look forward to greeting you as our guests.
